it."

We've all experienced it. You see someone
with a brand new electronic device. Maybe it's something that you have
wanted for months, or you covet it instantly on first sight. It could
be a new
cell phone, PDA or game console. Whatever it is, you want it worse
than anything in the world. Money, sex, and power all take a back seat
to this one device that could quickly establish your digital
dominance. You'll do anything you can to obtain this device before
anyone else.You are experiencing
"Gadget Envy," a common occurrence among most electronic-loving men
and women who can usually contain their competitive nature and natural
need for the newest and coolest. Don't despair, you aren't alone.
Conrad, an old boss of mine, fired me because he was jealous of the
toys I would get as a magazine editor. Radio Shack takes a slightly
different spin, called the syndrome
"digital distress" and published a press release about it.
According to them, more than 1/3 of the
population suffers from this affliction. In my experience,
SemperAptus.com readers have an even higher percentage of
contamination. And, as far as I can see, there is no cure. But fear
not! Our Web site is back, with an all new issue of exciting news,
reviews and a whole new design. And, best of all, we won't chastise
you for your Gadget Envy, we'll help feed it.
Welcome to a world where there are many
others like you...
